FIGURES have revealed which area of the district have the high coverage of Covid vaccines.
NHS data shows that 64,939 people have received a vaccine jab in Braintree equating to 53 per cent of those aged 16 and over.
The latest avilable data only takes into consideration jabs given out up until March 21.
The area with the highest coverage continues to be Bures Hamlet, Maplestead and Belchamp, with 65.2 per cent of people aged 16 and over given their first dose.
West Witham is still the lowest with 46.6 per cent done.
Areas with the highest coverage:
1) Bures Hamlet, Maplestead & Belchamp- 65.2%
2) Halstead East & Colnes- 61.8%
3) Steeple Bumpstead & Great Yeldham- 61%
Areas with the lowest coverage:
1) Central Braintree- 42.9%
2) Braintree South- 43.6%
3) West Witham- 46.6%

Across England, 23.7 million people had received their first dose of a vaccine by March 21, covering 52% of the population aged 16 and over.
That includes 18.3 million people aged 50 and over – 87% of the age group.
The figures also show that 1.6 million people have had a second dose of the jab.
