IF England’s Ashes triumph has inspired you, or you have ever fancied a go at playing cricket, then get along to Burnham on Sunday afternoon.
Burnham Sports will, weather permitting, hold an open day at their base in Millfields, between noon and 5pm.
There will be an opportunity to have a bat or a bowl for free, plus some basic training, with all equipment provided.
Sports have Kwik cricket equipment, where a hard ball is not used, and would welcome any potential players aged 12 or upwards to attend – be it for ten minutes or a few hours.
“Our league season finishes on Saturday and the idea of Sunday is to have a bit of fun,” said club secretary Neil Saunders.
“We will be about at the ground through the morning and afternoon playing games – all those interested in joining us need are a pair of trainers.
“We will provided everything else.”
Those after more information can contact Neil on 01621 784182.
