County champions: Braintree Bowmen duo Hari Shukla and Amelia Chumber have won gold at the Essex County Archery Target Championships.
A YOUNG duo from Braintree Junior Bowmen have struck gold at a county event.
Hari Shukla, 11 and Amelia Chumber, 15, were both victorious at the Essex County Archery Target Championships.
The pair both came home with the gold medal for their category and are now Essex County champions.
Amelia retained her title from the last competition in 2019, while Hari picking up the Rose Bowl award.
Both archers were competing in their first full competitive tournament since the postponement of all shooting due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
