Braintree Town are hoping to play Southern League outfit AFC Sudbury in a friendly tomorrow night.
Iron boss Robbie Garvey is keen for his players to get some match action, following the postponement of their home match against Weston-super-Mare, last weekend.
The match against Sudbury, managed by former Braintree and Witham favourite Nicky Smith, is subject to the Cressing Road surface passing a pitch inspection.
