Terry, who signed a new two-year contract with Colchester in the summer with the option for a further year, has now returned to the club ahead of their clash with Salford City this weekend.
The U’s have brought him back as they are short of central defensive options, with skipper Tom Flanagan and Jack Baldwin both still sidelined.
