BILLERICAY Town have confirmed Matt Rhead’s short stay at the club has come to an end.

Rhead made the move to the Steel Team Stadium following a productive four-year spell at Lincoln City, where he won the League Two and National League titles along with the EFL Trophy.

However, Town have announced Rhead has appeared in a Billericay shirt for the final time.

A club statement read: “We can now announce Matt Rhead has left the club.

“We thank him for his efforts in his short time at the club and wish him all the best for the future.”

Rhead found the back of the net twice during his time with the National League South club.
