IT proved an amazing weekend of county action for a trio of young players from Braintree Basketball Club.
Elizabeth Forster and Yvie Turner represented the Essex Under-11 Girls’ Basketball squad in the East Regional Counties tournament and helped take the county team to championship glory.
There was also and added delight for the Braintree duo as both received call-ups for the East Regional squad.
Braintree’s Tyler Musson was also representing Essex as he played for the Under-11 Boys’ squad that finished third overall and only narrowly missed out on a place in the final.
