Braintree Town fans are being invited to attend a special Easter Holiday training session at Cressing Road.

Manager Danny Searle will be working with his first-team players on the main stadium pitch on Wednesday (April 17) ahead of a busy weekend of Easter action and is inviting fans to come along and watch.

It will be a rare chance to see the team's preparations as they gear up to travel to Maidstone United on Good Friday and then return home for an Easter Monday encounter with Dagenham & Redbridge (kick-off 3pm).

Searle said the open session had been organised to give older fans and youngsters who were on school holidays a chance to watch the session as well as have a chat with him and his staff about plans for the end of the season and beyond.

The training session begins at noon and Searle said refreshments would be available to buy during the event.

Braintree head into their Easter fixtures on the back of a rousing 2-1 win against fourth-placed AFC Fylde at Cressing Road last weekend when goals from Mo Sagaf and Courtney Richards securing an eye-catching victory.
