THERE has been another double triumph for Felsted School's hockey teams as the under-11 and under-13 girls were crowned Essex champions at the In2Hockey county competition at Redbridge.
Felsted under-13s won all six of their games without conceding a single goal all day, while the under-11s also achieved a clean sweep of wins and an impressive total of 16 goals.
Under-11 coach Libby Knifton said: “It was a very successful day of hockey.
I was most impressed with the ability of both squads to work together and play free flowing and attacking hockey.”
Both teams join Felsted under-14 and under-18 teams as county champions and will now proceed to the regional finals.
This is the second big triumph for Felsted under-13s this season, who also reached the Indepedent Association of Prep Schools national finals after winning all of their matches at the regionals.
