THE Swiss Bell's win against Legends ensured they were runners-up in the Braintree Open Dart League's ladies' competition and with Legends winning the triples, they secured second spot in that competiton.
Legends also recorded a 3-0 pairs win and although the Swiss won the singles 4-3, the legs Legends won were enough to give them the overall match victory.
Notley Sports chalked up a 2-1 win in the pairs and in win in the triples in their match against Wethersfield and followed that up with a 7-0 win in the singles.
Welsh Princess went down 2-0 in the pairs against the Retreat but held the visitors to a draw in the triples.
In the singles, the only Welsh success was for Rob Camp as the Retreat won 6-1 to take the overall points.
The Eagle A entertained Bocking, who had a 3-0 win in the pairs and a win in the triples.
Kelvin Byrnes' win in the opening singles looked to be the start of a fightback for the Eagle but Bocking took four of the remaining games for singles and overall honours.
Eagle B travelled to Cressing and a 3-0 win in the pairs followed by a win in the triples gave them the advantage going into the singles.
Although Cressing won the singles 4-3, the Eagle held on to the overall match win.
Chris Holden and Sam Hayden both hit 180s and Graham Goffery hit a 100 out shot.
