Four clean sheets in the Vanarama National League have helped Braintree Town goalkeeper Will Norris to claim the honour of the league's Player of the Month for October.
Norris, who is on a season-long loan at the Avanti Stadium from Cambridge United, has been ever-present between the sticks as the Iron have maintained their record of having the top-flight's meanest defence.
They kept clean sheets against Eastleigh, Grimsby, Dover and Macclesfield in the league in October and also included an FA Cup shut-out against Harlow Town.
One goal was conceded in a 1-1 draw with Cheltenham in the National League and the only blemish for the team during a testing month, when they suffered a number of injuries, was a 2-0 defeat by Lincoln City.
The run wasn't enough to earn boss Danny Cowley the manager's award, though, as that accolade went to Dover's Chris Kinnear despite them losing 1-0 to Braintree during the month.
