New loan signing Bernard Mensah is set to join Braintree Town's squad for their Skrill Premier trip to Woking tomorrow.
Boss Alan Devonshire has been able to strengthen his forward options with the addition of the 19-year-old striker from Championship side Watford.
He comes from the same club as Britt Assombalonga, who had a profitable loan spell with the Iron two seasons ago before going on to impress at Southend and now Peterborough.
Mensah has scored 14 goals in 19 appearances for Watford's under-18 side during the current campaign.
He became a full professional at Vicarage Road last summer and made his Watford first team two months ago.
His only senior appearance so far has come in the Hornets' 1-0 Championship defeat by Bolton in November when he came on as a 79th minute substitute.
Other team news for Braintree ahead of the trip to Woking will see Dan Holman and Dan Sparkes having their fitness tested after suffering with back and groin problems respectively.
