Police have arrested a suspected chocolate-loving thief following a short chase.
Officers were out on patrol in Southend when they spotted a man they were looking for in connection with an investigation.
After a short chase, they caught up with the man and arrested him.
He was found in possession of a stash of Lindor chocolates, buscuits and coffee which police believe were all stolen.

A spokesman added: "Enquiries to ascertain where they are from are ongoing.
"The 44-year-old man from Southend remains in custody for questioning."
