A man evaded police officers by running down the tracks at Pitsea station.
The team from the British Transport Police (BTP) were called to the station around 10.35pm on October 13, after receiving reports a man wanted by Essex Police was obstructing the railway.
After a man had ran down the tracks to evade officers, the journeys of a number of frustrated c2c users came to a temporary halt, with the incident resulting in significant delays for the railway.
The following day, October 14, a man was arrested by officers on suspicion of obstructing the railway.
Rick Lee, 25, was charged with obstructing the railway on Thursday October 15.
He is due to appear at Basildon Crown Court next month.
