A police probe has been launched after chocolate-stealing burglars targeted a flat in Canvey.

Officers have now launched an investigation into the burglary, which took place between 9.30pm on Sunday August 2 and 4.30am on Monday August 3 at a flat on the high street.

During the break in, thieves stole a small amount of money, along with crates containing chocolate and drinks from the victim’s van.
