A TEENAGE boy has been charged following an assault on Rochford.
Police were called following an altercation near Rochford Garden Way, in which a 16-year old boy sustained life-threatening injuries.
The 17-year-old, who can’t be named for legal reasons, will appear at Basildon Crown Court on Monday June 15.
He is charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of a weapon in a public place, and breach of a criminal behaviour order.
He has been remanded in custody until the hearing.
