A fourth man has been charged with the murder of Asqeri Spaho.

Durald Sokoli, 27, of Ayley Croft in Enfield, has been charged in connection with the murder of Asqeri Spaho in Westcliff last December.

Charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of cannabis, he will appear at Southend Magistrates' Court today, Thursday March 26.

This comes after Asqeri Spaho, 25, died as a result of stab wounds after an incident in Tintern Avenue, Westcliff, at around 4.25am on Thursday 12 December 2019.

Three other men, Scott Heaney 22, of Hurlock Street, Highbury; Brian Kincloch, 31, of Beachcroft Way, Upper Holloway, and 31-year-old Wesley Hendrickson from Ashcroft Close in Enfield, have all been charged with murder, attempted murder and aggravated burglary.

They are due to stand trial at Basildon Crown Court on 13 July.

Three men have also been arrested in connection with the murder, but have all been released under investigation.

A 31-year-old man from Tottenham, arrested on suspicion of murder, attempted murder and possession of cannabis, has been released, as well as two 21-year-old men.

Police continue to appeal for information on the whereabouts of 28-year-old Mitchell Harris in connection with a disturbance at the property.

He has links to Highbury in London.
