Passengers travelling on c2c trains have reported that trains are full of commuters travelling to London from across south Essex
The train company have started running a reduced service from today.
That is despite Government guidance that people should work from home if they can, however some roles may not allow for that.
The reduced service will be running "until further notice", bosses confirmed last week.
Several commuters on busy trains, have expressed concern at how close passengers were to each other, despite Government rules on 'social distancing'.
Rules state that if you are outside your home, a two metre distance must be maintained between others.
c2c has been contacted for a statement.
