SOUTHEND's popular amusement park has flooded for the second time this year.
Staff at Adventure Island were forced to sweep away the water after the park was flooded yesterday.
The floods and high tides hit the seafront on Monday, as part of Storm Ciara's devastating impact on Essex.
Adventure Island bosses have called the flooding "soul destroying" after the park has been flooded twice in 2020.
Flood water damaged the gift shop in January after Storm Brendan hit the UK.
The Three Shells cafe was also shut yesterday after high tides and flood water swept onto the seafront.
Adventure Island praised their staff for their teamwork on their Facebook page. They posted: "Teamwork makes the dreamwork."
Western Esplanade is set to close today at midday due to further flooding fears.
