A JUNIOR school has warned parents to keep their children from touching cars in the car park.
Holt Farm Junior School has warned parents on social media to ensure that sufficient distance is kept between cars when parents are picking up their children at the end of the day.
The school, on Ashingdon Road in Rochford, tweeted today: "Please ensure that distance is kept between our cars within our car parks and young children during the end of the day collection time.
"We have received reports that children are touching the cars.
"Thank you for your understanding."
Rochford District Councillor Mike Webb, whose child attends the school, said: "This notice is essentially the school reminding parents to not let their children touch cars in the car park, or let them lean their scooters up against them. We must all respect others property."
