A man was attacked by two yobs armed with a golf club.
The victim, a man in his 50's, was attacked while walking through an underpass linking Chalvedon Community Centre and Northlands Park, Basildon at about 5.30pm on Thursday July 25.
At least two men approached the victim and hit him on the back with what was described as a golf club.
The man did not require medical treatment for his injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact Basildon Police Station on 101, quoting crime reference 42/118680/19.
