A WOMAN suffered serious injuries to her feet after a crash in Basildon.
Essex Police are appealing for information after the pedestrian reported the crash in South Walk, Basildon, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The woman, in her 20s, had suffered serious injuries to her feet during the incident outside Cosmos Pizza, which took place following a verbal altercation, at around 3am on July 27.
The driver then left the scene in a grey BMW.
A 34-year-old man from Laindon was arrested several hours later. He has been released on bail until August 21.
The pair are known to each other.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident and has not provided our officers with an account, or has access to CCTV and dash cam footage which may have been active at the time, should call police on 101 quoting the crime reference number 42/119535/19.
