Basildon Magistrates Court
FOLLOWING a recent court hearing, Basildon teacher Timothy Eastwell was found not guilty of sexual offences against children.
On Friday, May 31, the CPS offered no evidence in the case against Mr Eastwell, 58, of Woodcote Road in Leigh.
A spokesman for Essex Police, said: "Throughout the course of this challenging and complex investigation our specialist officers worked closely with the local authority and, later, alongside the CPS to bring charges.
"A not guilty verdict was formally returned by the court during the hearing on May 31."
