Police have arrested four people following a pursuit involving a pick-up truck in Runwell today, Wednesday, May 1.
Officers attempted to stop a vehicle in Church End Lane at around 1.20am without success.
The vehicle drove off at speed followed by the police helicopter before going off road in Stock.
The occupants got into another vehicle before officers successfully boxed the car in on the M25 near Epping, bringing the pursuit to a safe stop.
Two men, aged 22 and 36, and a boy, 16, all from Wickford, have been arrested on suspicion of theft of a vehicle and failing to stop.
A woman, 43, from Wickford, was arrested on suspicion of assisting offenders. They all remain in custody for questioning.
