AN ACTIVITY centre held an open day.
The George Hurd Activity Centre, Audley Way, Basildon held the event with plenty of entertainment.
There were performers such as singers, and various other activities on offer for the visitors on the day.

Organisers and staff have hailed event a success.
Roy Jennings, treasurer of the centre said: "The centre had a wonderful atmosphere during the special event.
"It was great to see so many new faces.
"Visitors said that all our volunteers had been extremely helpful and so friendly.
"Some of the visitors at the event said they couldn’t wait to join and start taking part in our classes."
Originally established in 1969 by Councillor George Hurd, the centre has been established in a brand new purpose built complex since May 2008.
It was held on Tuesday October 9.
