A BASILDON woman will be turning her home into a haunted cemetery for Halloween to raise money for the hospice caring for her mum.

Angel Binks, 37, of Whitmore Way, has always loved Halloween, but after learning her mum had terminal cancer and only six months to live, she wanted to make a difference by raising money for St. Luke’s Hospice.

Angel said: “Every year we do something special for Halloween and this year we decided we would raise money for St. Luke’s Hospice again, as they will soon be caring for my mum since she was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer three months ago.

“They are a great charity and we hope raise around £400 for them.”

Trick-or-treaters are welcome to drop by and see the spooky house and donate.
