A man has been charged following an incident where someone was shot with an air gun in Chichester Road, Southend.
It happened at around 1.20pm on Saturday, October 6, and saw the area flooded with emergency service workers including armed police officers.
The victim suffered superficial injuries.
Richard Miller, 44, of Southchurch Road, Southend was arrested and has been charged with GBH with intent and possessing an air weapon with intent to cause fear of violence.
He is due before Southend Magistrates’ Court on Monday, October 8.
