Volunteers and staff are swapping their gladrags for sleeping bags to raise money for charity.
Eight of them will spend a night in the RSPCA Danaher Animal Home kennels on August 27.
The animal home in Wethersfield rehomes cats, dogs and other small animals but is entirely self funded.
Volunteer Lucy Smith said: “We are trying to raise money for the home and to try and experience how the poor rescue dogs must feel. “As many of us would normally be out on a Saturday night it will definitely be a change of scenery.
To sposor the group email Lucy at danaheranimalhome@live.co.uk or post a cheque saying sponsored kennel sleep in to RSPCA Danaher Animal Home, Hedingham Road, Braintree or visit www.rspcaessex.org.uk
