A KIND-HEARTED group donated tasty cakes to "local heroes" on the frontline of the fight against coronavirus.
The Harwich Angels, founded in 2017, are dedicated to helping the community in any way they can.
Last week they paid a visit to the Fryatt Hospital, in Main Road, where they delivered delicious cakes to vaccination volunteers.
The sweet-tooth treats were donated in recognition of their tremendous work in helping defeat Covid-19.
Thankful postal workers in the area also received boxes of cakes.
Harwich Angel Andrea King said: "Some of our angels have been busy delivering cakes to our local heroes.
"Thanks so much to the vaccination volunteers at the Fryatt Hospital and our fantastic postmen and ladies.
"I am sure I speak for most of Harwich when I say thank you for all you do."
