A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson after police were called to a fire at a motor caravan.
Essex Police are investigating the fire which they believe was started deliberately at an address in Tiptree.
They were called to reports of a Bedford motor caravan on fire in Elm Close at around 1.30am on Friday (November 20).
They believe it was started deliberately and are treating it as arson.
A nearby fence was also damaged.
A 40-year-old man from Tiptree has been arrested on suspicion of arson, criminal damage, ABH and harassment.
He has been released on bail until December 9.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 101 quoting crime reference number 42/189716/20.
