Essex Police are appealing for witnesses
Essex Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash yesterday evening (Sunday June 21).
Police were called the A414 Maldon bypass after a motorcycle was travelling from Heybridge towards Maldon on the River Chelmer Bridge at around 7.40pm when the rider came off his bike.
The 50-year-old man was taken to hospital but his injuries were not believed to be serious.
Police would like to speak to anyone who saw the black Aprilia before the collision or who saw the collision itself.
They are also appealing for dash cam footage.
Anyone with information can contact the Stanway Roads Policing Unit on 101 quoting incident 1114 of 21 June.
