A MOTORCYCLIST has died following a crash on a country road.
Police were called to Witham Road, near Cressing Temple Barns, at 5pm yesterday (Sunday, March 22) after a motorbike and van were involved in a collision.
Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, the man riding the motorbike died.
The road was closed throughout the evening as police carried out their investigation into the crash.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area.
Police have now confirmed three men have been arrested in connection with the crash.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101 or email CollisionAppeal@essex.pnn.police.uk quoting 706 of yesterday's date.
