THOSE travelling by train this afternoon are told to expect a reduced service due to a landslide.
Greater Anglia made announcement about the incident betweet Wickford and Billericay.
This mean disruptions may carry on until the evening.
A spokesman said: "Due to a landslip between Billericay and Wickford, train services between Southend Victoria and Liverpool Street are being disrupted.
"At present we are running a reduced train service between Southend Victoria and London Liverpool Street, this is supplemented by a Rail Replacement bus between Shenfield and Wickford.
"Network rail engineers are on site and reports that due to the level of movement of earth beneath the rail, works will be on going until the end of service today."
