AN MP is to hold a public meeting to discuss growing concerns about crime and anti-social behaviour.
Home Secretary Priti Patel (pictured) is holding the meeting at Tiptree’s community centre on Friday, February 28.
Police commissioner Roger Hirst and senior officers will update the public on police activity in the village.
Ms Patel said: “Keeping our streets safe is a top priority for me and recent reports of crime and anti-social behaviour in Tiptree have been causing concern.
“I am in contact with the police over these incidents and the meeting will be an opportunity for them to give further information to residents and respond to questions and concerns.
“By working together with the community, we can see what more can be done to tackle these issues.”
The meeting, in Caxton Close, will start at 7.30pm.
