THE trust which runs Halstead Hospital is asking patients to help it choose areas for improvement.

The East Suffolk and North Essex Trust, which also runs Colchester, Harwich and Clacton and Halstead hospitals, has developed nine priorities and is asking for people’s views on which they feel are the most important.

They will then be taken forward and given extra focus during 2020/21.

Catherine Morgan, who is the chief nurse at the trust, said: “We want to make sure we are always delivering safe, effective services and the best possible experience for every patient receiving care in our trust.

“We are asking our patients, staff, the public and stakeholders to help us do that by sharing their views on the areas they feel we should focus on during the next year.

“We would encourage as many people as possible to take a few minutes to fill out the short questionnaire and help us make sure we are concentrating on the things which matter the most to them during 2020/21.

“What you tell us will make a difference.”

The questionnaire is available until February 28.
