A COMMUNITY group is launching a new project aiming to keep residents more digitally connected.

Maldon and District CVS is hosting sessions where members of the public can come and learn about basic digital skills.

A launch party will take place at Maldon Library on Friday, January 31 from 10am.

A spokesman said: “Digital is changing the way we live and manage our day to day tasks and connections, which means having basic digital skills can help us feel safer and more confident using the internet.

“This project aims to understand individuals’ everyday needs and wants, and where necessary upskill their digital skills to be able to connect to their community or accessing any information or services they need.”
