MALDON and Heybridge Horticultural Society has revealed a new line-up of events for the new year.
The group has talks, outings, shows, competitions and Friary Walled Garden open days planned for 2020.
The first meeting is on Tuesday, January 21, with a talk by Peter Miller about Kings Seeds of Kelvedon.
Peter has worked there for 57 years and will talk about the history of the company and the Essex seed industry.
There will also be the monthly Janshaven Cup and floral art competitions and a raffle.
The meeting is at 7.30pm in the United Reformed Church hall, Market Hill, Maldon.
Entry is £1 (£2 non-members) including refreshments.
