TALENTED young rockstars hit the right note at a sell-out annual Christmas concert.
The Rock Project Maldon held the concert at Maldon Town Hall.
Both junior and senior shows were sold out and the students, who are aged from seven to 17, performed brilliantly.
A spokesman said: “There were some great moments as the children performed songs from a ‘Through the Decades’ theme this year, ranging from the 50s through to the 2010s.
“All songs were performed live with no backing tracks as the children sang and played guitar, bass guitar and drums following months of hard work learning the songs.”
The Rock Project Maldon has been operating schools in Danbury and Wickford for almost four years.
Joy Smith, of Southminster, bought the franchise four years ago after being in a rock band for 16 years.
She decided on the Rock Project after both her daughters started playing instruments.
She said: “Our biggest shows are the ones held in December and our end of year concert in July before the summer holidays.
“I love hiring Maldon Town Hall because the facilities are perfect for our needs with a decent sized stage and auditorium, and we have used that venue on several occasions now.
“This year, our December showcase had a theme of rock and pop through the decades as this was our last concert before we enter the new decade of 2020.”
