TWO members of staff at a care home have been honoured.
Paul Towse and Dave Cook, who make up the maintenance team at Foxburrow Grange in Colchester, were highly commended in the Unsung Hero category at the Essex Care Sector Awards.
The awards, known as The Prospers, promote best practice and outstanding achievement in the care sector.
The home in Ypres Road provides care to 69 residents and is owned by Outlook Care.
The category recognises the outstanding contribution made by people who work tirelessly behind the scenes.
Paul and Dave are responsible for building maintenance but they have also become contributors to the feel-good factor at the home by creating amazing spaces for residents.
Paul and Dave were also winners of Caring Times’s Care Home Heroes award earlier this year.
