CAMPAIGNERS opposed to Alumno’s proposed St Botolph’s scheme will set out their case during a series of round table meetings.
At least 12 members of the public as well as councillors have registered to speak at the planning inquiry between now and when it comes to a conclusion next Friday.
Each round table session will focus on one specific issue such as urban design, heritage and access.
It is hoped they will be complete by the time the enquiry finishes for the week on Friday.
The appeal will not sit on Monday, but Tuesday will see counsel given the opportunity to cross-examine planning witnesses before Inspector Melvyn Middleton visits the site on Thursday.
Members of the public and planning experts will join the tour of the site, which is located a short walk from the appeal venue, St Botolph’s Church.
Resident Ian Partridge asked to record the appeal hearings on camera, but permission was refused after developer Alumno raised an objection.
The firm argued some witnesses would prefer not to give their evidence on camera.
Inspector Melvyn Middleton asked residents to only film outside of the venue.
