GARDEN communities bosses will host a number of public engagement events this month.

North Essex Garden Communities Ltd will run the sessions under the title Shaping Communities for Future Generations.

The aim is to ask the public what they would like to see in news town proposed in north Essex. North Essex Garden Communities Ltd is owned by Essex County Council, Braintree Council, Tendring Council and Colchester Council.

The company’s managing director, Richard Bayley, said: “This first engagement will give everyone the chance to influence and shape the new garden communities as the thinking and planning develops.

“There will be no layouts or detailed plansz, just open conversations about what is possible and what people want including the opportunities and benefits.”

Three public exhibitions have been organised.

An exhibition on the Tendring and Colchester borders garden community will be held on October 26 from 10am until 4pm at Greenstead Community Centre in Hawthorn Avenue.
