A VILLAGE salon has put Essex on the fashion map by reaching the finals of the Wella TrendVision Awards.
Hair Lounge 47 in Kelvedon attended one of the most prestigious hair competitions in the world.
Thousands of hairdressers up their game to showcase their creative prowess.
Salon director Wasif Khan said: “We are incredibly proud to have reached the Grand Finals which shows how passion, hard work and self-belief can make the impossible possible.
"We hope our achievement can be the stepping stone for future success in national and international hair competitions.”
The dazzling show took place at the Roundhouse in London and was hosted by Vernon Kay and Patrick Cameron.
In attendance were hairdressing icons Errol Douglas, Nicky Clarke, Robert Eaton and a host of celebrities.
Emily Worboys, stylist at the salon, said: "I feel truly honoured to have reached the UK & Ireland Finals.
"Having the opportunity to work alongside some of the leading hairdressing icons has inspired me immensely and I am now looking forward to Wella Trendvision 2020."
