AUSTRALIAN heartthrob Jason Donovan is bringing his 30th anniversary solo tour to Colchester.

The former Neighbours star is celebrating three decades since the release of his debut album Ten Good Reasons with a mammoth 52-date trip round the UK as part of his Even More Good Reasons Tour.

After years of successfully touring the country in stage productions such as Priscilla, Jeff Waynes War of the Worlds and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Jason will take to the stage for his own show for the first time in four years.

He said: "The tour is a real opportunity to make people feel good. You can’t beat a live band, and the interaction with an audience.

"I like to create a show which is not just about singing songs, I like people to come into my world through the music, the stories the visuals and feel they’ve got to know me a little more personally."

Over his career Jason bagged himself four number one singles, including the million selling smash with Neighbours co-star Kyle Minogue Especially For You.

He will perform at Charter Hall, in Cowdray Avenue, on September 18, 2020.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Monday via jasondonovan.com.
