THE world's most famous bagpipe band are bringing their latest tour to Charter hall in Colchester.

Red Hot Chili Pipers bring their "bagrock" stylings to the Cowdray Avenue venue on their tour in support of latest studio album Fresh Air.

A fusion of brand-new songs and carefully selected covers, it is a departure for the band as many of the songs include lead vocals.

Included on the album is a performance of smash hit Leave a Light On featuring original artist Tom Walker.

The single was released in aid of Nordoff Robins, a music therapy charity, and went straight into the iTunes top five.

The band are best known for their energetic live shows which have seen them perform to 1 million people across the globe.

They've performed at BBC Proms in Hyde Park, T in the Park, the Rugby World Cup and won the Graham Norton hosted talent show When Will I Be Famous.

Red Hot Chili Pipers play Charter Hall on Sunday, December 1.

Tickets cost £25 plus a book fee. To book, visit colchester-events.co.uk.
