A FLORAL festival is being held to raise money for a church in Dedham.
Dedham Church, in High Street, will showcase wonderful flower displays to attract visitors from September 27 to 30.
Opening times will be from 10am to 4pm on Friday and Saturday, 12pm to 4pm on Sunday and from 10am to 1pm on Monday.
The event is free of charge, but donations are asked for to help with the running of the church.
One of the organisers, Jill Strangward, of East Lane, Dedham,said: “The church is desperately short of money.
“We are organising this event to raise money just for running of the church.
“There is fewer and fewer people coming to church, so there aren’t enough funds to run the church.“
The porch is being decorated, as there will be a harvest service on Sunday.
