A MAN was rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a three vehicle crash on a village road.
The Street in Hatfield Peverel was closed through Friday afternoon after a white Citroen car, a Flatbed lorry and a green Scania Tipper Truck were involved in a collision.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene where they helped treat the driver of the Citroen, a man in his 40s, for serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Flatbed lorry also had minor injuries.
The driver of the Tipper Truck, a man in his 40s, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drug driving.
He has since been released under investigation.
Witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage of the collision are asked to contact Stanway Road Policing Unit on 101, quoting incident 752 of 19 July.
