AN award-winning artist is coming to Colchester to raise awareness of mental health.
Artist Kealey Farmer created a special triptych piece in aid of Ian’s Chain Charity. All proceeds from sales will be donated to the charity.
Kealey said: “The charity was set up to help families after the shock of a suicide.
“Having lost our son to mental health in 2012 it was apparent it is hard to source practical help when it is so badly needed and family members, friends or colleagues go through a myriad of emotions.
“So far we have kept families together and have prevented suicides even when those in crisis are actually in the commission of a suicide attempt.”
The exhibition will be on Saturday at M P Gallery in Sir Isaacs Walk, Colchester.
