AN osteopath who has spent nearly 30 years helping young people was invited to the Queen’s garden party.

Lyndee Oscar was nominated by BackCare UK for her work as a registered osteopath and for founding Kids Backs 4 The Future.

She works with young people helping to reduce the impact of back pain at a young age.

Lyndee, from Colchester, said: “I was in awe of the beauty everywhere. I felt a glow of warmth increasing with each person I spoke to and felt special we all shared this moment in common.

“It’s the first time I have tried cucumber and carrot sandwiches.

“We were entertained by the military band as we enjoyed our tea and walked around the Royal gardens.

“There were thousands of people everywhere surrounding Prince Charles and Camilla. I did have my moment of fame when Prince Charles was leaving, I wished him a good evening and he replied ‘I hope you enjoyed your tea’.”

She said it was an emotional and empowering day.

She added: “I know I will be smiling for a very long time. We were also blessed with a perfect sunny afternoon.”
