The Spring Bank holiday is on the way, giving people a day-off work, but not for supermarkets.
However, their opening times will change and here is what you need to know before planning to do your shopping during the bank holiday on Monday.
Supermarkets
Asda, Turner Rise
The store will be open from 7am to 8pm on Bank Holiday Monday.
Sainsbury's - Stanway, town centre and Layer Road
The Stanway store will be open from 8am to 8pm.
The town centre store will be open from 8am to 7pm.
The Layer Road Local store will be open from 7am to 11pm.
Tesco - Highwoods, Hythe, Magdalen Street, Bromley Road, Crouch Street
The Tesco Highwoods and Hythe superstores will be open from 9am to 6pm on the Monday Bank Holiday.
The store at Magdalen Street will be open from 7am to 11pm, while the store at Bromley Road will be open from 6am to 11pm.
The Crouch Street store will be open from 7am to 10:30pm.
Lidl – Abbot’s Road and Gosbecks Road
There are no times confirmed.
Waitrose, St Andrew's Avenue
The store will be open from 9am to 6pm.
Aldi - Cowdray Avenue, Magdalen Street, London Road
There are no times confirmed.
DIY stores
B&Q - Lightship Way
The store will be open from 7am to 8pm on the bank holiday.
