After Friday's final farewell, Liam Howlett, who attended the funeral with fellow bandmate Maxim, has taken to social media to thank fans who helped 'raise the roof' for Keith.

In a statement, the Prodigy co-founder said: "I would like to thank everybody that turned up to celebrate the life of our brother Keef.

"It was a truly emotional and overwhelming day. Thank you for your support. You did him proud."

The Prodigy had urged fans to raise the roof for Keith earlier in the week and said they were overwhelmed by the response they received in the lead-up to Friday's farewell.

They added: "We are overwhelmed by the response from you all to the funeral procession on Friday.

"It means a lot to us that so many of you are making the trip from near and far to be there."
